How many of you sometimes wake up in the morning with flat or day-old hair and
really don't have time to jump in the shower and give it the attention it needs? How many of you (like me) throw some baby powder on your oily roots and convince yourself that no one will notice that it looks like your hair is going white and/or smells like a baby? Well...I have been around this block a time or two and continued to forget to add
"buy dry shampoo" to my to-do list...until a visit to Victoria's Secret and a handy dandy gift card convinced me to test it out:
Just a few spritzes on the oily areas & voila! It works like a charm & smells fabulous! A
no-rinse powder formula to get rid of excess oil and revive my hair? Yes, please! My rational for buying a can of dry shampoo also included the notion that I could attempt more mid-day classes at my gym without feeling like I need to follow-up with a
full blown shower.
The easier, the better. In fact, I still do not understand why I didn't buy dry shampoo months ago! A few other brands that look promising:
Test out a couple of different types of aerosol or non-aerosol dry shampoo's to see which one works out best for you! I personally like to take evening showers and try not to wash my hair every day in order to keep it healthier...so now if I need a quick fix in the morning or while I'm on-the-go I've got it covered!
Hasta la vista bad hair days!
i had to laugh out loud at this posts' title. something about 10 year old rappers...anyway...all of these look great but my hair is never flat. and of course, being a natural wavy/curly/frizzy/1378964327847280212 strands of hair person that i am...i wish sometimes it were

Dry shampoo is a permanent fixture in my gym locker...
ReplyDeleteI've been using the Klorane Gentle Dry Shampoo With Oat Milk. It's fabulous! The only complaint I have is that there is little in the can (even the larger can).
But it sure is a life-savor when you're in a rush!!
Great post, Victoria!!
Hayley - I kept singing that song while I was out with friends this weekend! It drives me nuts but I couldn't help myself :-p
ReplyDeleteJessica - I totally agree! I am definitely going to save it for when it is desperately needed...I read a lot of mixed reviews about the amount you get for the price you pay...story of our lives!
ReplyDeletehahaha, i'm so guilty of doing this, you couldn't be more right about the smell! i'll have to try some of these products asap. check out our giveaway!

I've been meaning to buy one of these!! I usually just braid my hair into several braids and pick it all up into a ponytail, but if I need to move FAST and/or would like to wear my hair down - dry shampoo would be perfect! I wonder if they sell any here....
ReplyDeleteMichi - It's funny because I also braid my hair if I'm not in the mood to deal with it...usually wet so I have waves in it eventually...but I do like having dry shampoo as an option! Hope you have luck finding some :)
